Finland - Hong Kong Trade Association welcomes you to join its events and activities! Seminars, programs and other events on specific themes. We have regular breakfast seminars, which we organize 4-6 times per year. These interesting presentations coupled with an opportunity to network and exchange experiences and views should not be missed. The annual Chinese New Year celebration is the high point of our social year, with typically a seminar and a buffet dinner, with over 100 participants. Speakers from Hong Kong, bringing the latest news and information, also attend this annual event in February / March. A particular program aiming at networking is our Friends Family program, which is in more detail explained under Projects section of this website. The target is to offer our members an opportunity to establish a personal link with a hongkongese student studying in Finland , giving both a personal contact over the boarders. Hong Kong TDC organizes for ex. annually, in November/December, the Hong Kong Forum – an event where participants from all the 30+ Hong Kong trade associations around the world take part. This 3 day event – with an option to a 2-3 day side trip to Pearl River Delta – is an excellent opportunity for networking, but also to get updated information and presentations from the best and highest representatives of Hong Kong. In connection with this event the association has strived to arrange our own program around a specific theme>; i.e. design or environment. We are the contact point for Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC)
HKTC arranges regularly visits for HK business delegations to Finland around specific themes. These visits offers natural opportunities for our members and their companies to receive first-hand information about Hong Kong and possibly even business. All the above services are available for all our members. These organized events aim to lay a basis for individual networking on one-on-one basis, which each member takes advantage through his or her own initiatives.
