Mission The purpose of the Finland-Hong Kong Trade Association is to develop business relations between Finland and Hong Kong/the Southern China and to create a better awareness of existing possibilities to enhance business . In order to further our cause we are also a member of the world wide organization Federation of Hong Kong Business Association – a organization supported by the HKTDC (Hong Kong Trade Development Council) Vision To be the main link between Finnish and Hong Kong business communities!
Our main focus are the Finnish SME’s – this because we expect them to benefit the most from our association work. We are also a networking hub for individuals. The network of active business people operating in Hong Kong and Southern China build an important knowledge and experience base to be shared between the members. We believe Students and young professionals are and should be an integrate part of our future! Membership We offer two different types of memberships:
For our corporate members: 1. We work as a facilitator and efficient contact point 2. We organize seminars, programs and other events on specific themes in Finland 3. We organize visits on particular themes to Hong Kong / Southern China 4. We are the contact point for HKTDC in Finland For our individual members In addition to the above services 1. We are a networking hub for individuals. Experienced members are an important asset of the association. sharing their experience with younger and keeping contact with each other. 2. For students and young business professionals – in Finland and in Hong Kong / Southern China – we give them a platform for networking (happenings, websites etc) and a opportunity for exchange programs. |
